Memorizing Kinetic Sculptures by Anthony Howe

Wait until you see them move!

These beautiful moving sculptures are some of the best art I have ever scene. They are truly magnificent. One of these kinetic art pieces installed in my garden would look absolutely gorgeous.

They were all created by the American artist Anthony Howe from his workshop on Orcas Island, Washington.

Anthony has sold his sculptures all over the world and they have been showcased in many places including palaces, sculpture parks, and Barneys Christmas window in Manhattan.

Anthony says “Kinetic sculpture resides at the intersection of artistic inspiration and mechanical complexity. The making of one of my pieces relies on creative expression, metal fabrication, and a slow design process in equal parts. It aims to alter one’s experience of time and space when witnessed. It also needs to weather winds of 90 mph and still move in a one mile per hour breeze and do so for hundreds of years.”

All these sculptures are available to purchase direct from Anthony himself. You can find the details here.

You can see all of Anthony’s amazing work on Howeart.net.
