Some Rather Creepy Abandoned Places

What the hell happened here?

There is definitely something very creepy and scary about abandoned places. These are the places in our nightmares, places where you certainly wouldn’t want to find yourself alone.

Some of these neglected scenes are most likely to be seen in some horror movie, and it does make you wonder as to why some of these places were abandoned in the first place. Maybe something terrible happened here, maybe it was a financial situation or some kind of disaster?

Let’s start off with the most famous abandoned place there is…. Pripyat, Ukraine.

You may think you are looking at the set of ‘I am Legend’, but Pripyat was once a thriving new city which was abandoned nearly 30 years ago in 1986 when the Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor Disaster happened. This is a great example of how nature reclaims the earth.
