TIE Fighter, inspired by the 90’s video game of the same name.
Continuing on in our sci-fi themed month of posts, we take a look at this brilliant anime styled Star Wars short movie.
The movie was drawn and animated by UK artist Paul Johnson aka MightyOtaking, who asks the question “What if there was an Empire-focused short Star Wars animation, drawn with crazy detail and shading of classic 80’s anime that’s all but vanished from Japan nowadays?” Well, here is your answer!
The movie took “4 years worth of weekends” to complete and features guitar solos by Zak Rahman and sound effects by Joseph Leyva.
Here it is ‘TIE Fighter’. Enjoy!
