Urban exploration, which is often shortened to just ‘urbex’ is the hobby and exploration of buildings and structures.

These are usually abandoned ruins such as houses, hospitals, warehouse and industrial factories, power plants etc.

Although the photography part is the main interest of this hobby, a keen interest in history and documentation is heavily featured. To some people it may appear to be trespassing onto private property, but this however is not always the case. Check these out.
