We like our comics to be as dark as out coffee at Joyenergizer and they do not come any darker than these terrifically terrifying little comics written by 賴惟智 (Edd Lai) and art by Nee Ty Guo who are both from Taiwan.
Lai has been lucky enough to get have many novels published and had been commissioned to write for movies and screenplays and is currently working on a new series called Edd Lai’s Stories.
Lai says “My greatest passion lies in graphic arts. I enjoy telling stories not only through words, but through pictures as well. Adding visuals allows him to portray his feelings way better.”
“My stories might appear to be dark, but they can be delightful or even cute. The pieces I’ve written for Edd Lai’s Stories are short, with a sudden twist at the end, which makes them super dramatic.”
