In 2006 a London town house was due for demolition, but when the house was being emptied a large number of sealed wooden creates were found.

A trust was formed and tasked to analyse the content of these crates, which had been untouched for over 60 years. What they found in these crates was a truly unique collection of specimens which were creatures and artefacts that were originally thought to be myth and legend!

What they had found were the life works and collections of Lord and Professor Thomas Merrylin, a crypto-naturalist, Xeno-Archeoloigist and Fringe Zoologist. A man who was supposedly 160 years old when he was last seen in 1942.

The collection which formed an incredible museum of taxidermied dragons, forest people, werewolves and vampires. Just leaves so many question unanswered. Where did they come from? How did he live so long? Where is he now?

All the specimens found can now be found in the Merrylin Cryptic Museum setup by Alex CF – the sculpture and the true mastermind behind this imaginative story.
