These hyper-real artworks were the creation of South Korean artist Joongwon Jeong.
Jeong paints various celebrities, historical characters and models on giant canvases. Using delicate brushstrokes to capture and replicate the subject’s skin in great detail, which includes any creases, wrinkles or blemishes. The final images look so realistic that it results in people mistaking Jeong’s work for giant photographs because the attention to detail is so incredible.
