Be Very Afraid – It’s the Invasion of the Insects in this 3D Graffiti

Argh!

We appreciate good street art and these 3D insects are truly amazing even if they are the stuff of nightmares.

They were all the creation of Lisbon based anamorphic artist Odeith (Sergio Odeith) using the anamorpic technique using perspective and corners to create an optical illusion and make the piece of work appear ultra realistic 3D as well as scary as hell!

Odeith said “The biggest trick — it’s all about the light and the shadows — depending on where you put them, the piece will create more impact and really pop out from the wall. Sometimes I just use a random image, other times I sketch something that will fit on the place.”

It would be really quite scary to come across one of these 3D murals in an abandoned warehouse while out alone don’t you think?

You can see more of Odeith’s work at Odeith.com and Instragram.
