Welcome to Jurassic Park! – The Original Concept Art for the Movie

A theme park on an island filled with real-life dinosaurs. What could possibly go wrong?

If there was one movie that stands the test of time, it would be the 1993 motion picture – Jurassic Park.

It is hailed as one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time and to be honest, it is one of the greatest movies of all time!  Based on the book of the same name by author Michael Crichton, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and the late Sir Richard Attenborough. It was a total dream team.

I think we were all in awe when we first saw the dinosaurs way back then. The CGI was state of the art and set the standard for a very long time to come.

Concept Artist John Bell as revealed the awesome concept art that he created for the movie. Bell has designed concept art for many classic movies including the Jurassic Park franchise, Star Wars Rogue One, Men in Black, Pixar Cars, Back to the Future II, Willow and many more.

Let’s have a look at the concept art that inspired the final look of the film.
