Artists Recreate Children’s Drawings of Monsters

Brining to life the imagination of children…

Artists bring to life the imagination of children

This collection of cute artworks were created by a collaboration between school children and professional artists. The Monster Project was set up to help children recognize the power of their own imaginations and to encourage them to pursue their own creative potential.

Elementary schools can submit their students art to the project and then in turn artists create their own interpretations and then consult and demonstrate to the student how their original ideas and imagination help spark ideas in other people.

“With a decreasing emphasis on arts in schools, many children don’t have the opportunity for creative exploration they deserve. That’s a monstrous trend we would like to destroy. As artists ourselves, we understand how important that initial creative exposure is and how it can truly alter the shape of a child’s future. – The Monster Project”

You can see more of these great art pieces and information on The Monster Project and the great work they do at the The Monster Project website.
