The world can be a pretty f**ked up place and at times you could be mistaken for thinking that you’re living in an episode of Black Mirror…
We have corrupt leaders running our countries, the rich blaming the poor for all our money woes. Corporations avoid taxes and dictate how we should be spending our money. Energy and oil companies applying huge price hikes to their tariffs and fuel pumps and then gloating about how much profit they have made while poor families have to go make a decision on whether to go without heat or food this month. Giant tech companies use algorithms to control our media streams with what they think we want to see. Billionaires racing off to space and purchasing media and social media outlets.
Does having access to world news 24/7 and social media flooding our digital streams with bad news, conspiracy theory nutjobs and scare news contribute to our sadness and sense of impending doom?
When is the revolution? I need to know so I can book it in my diary and get the time off work!
