One of the greatest inventions of the last 30 years has got to be 3D printing, which is the process of making three-dimensional solid objects of practically any shape from a digital designed model.

While we may think of 3D printing as a recent invention, it was actually created way back in 1984, but it wasn’t until the 2010’s that the printers have become commercially available.

The possibilities of what 3D printers can produce is unlimited and 3D printed has made a huge impact in the world of manufacturing, parts, prosthetics and jewellery.
