In a few months Apple fans won’t be able to contain themselves with the release of the next iPhone.

The internet is already buzzing and has been since the release of the last one! Concept designs, rumours and leaked images will have been surfacing for many months, all giving us a glimpse into what to expect from Apple’s latest incarnation of their amazing smart phone.

How about we take a different look on iPhone concepts and think retrospectively, because Pierre Cerveau has asked the ultimate question…

“Ever wondered how Apple’s flagship product would have looked if it had been released 20 years before the first iPhone?”

Product designer Pierre Cerveau has envisioned just that with this awesome concept for how an 80’s iPhone may look – the Macintosh Phone.

Equipped with a smart retro styled rotary dial, which looks familiar to the classic iPod clicker wheel element and under the hood we have a whopping 512kb memory, which would have been huge in 1987!
