Selfies of ‘The Invisible Man’ – Liu Bolin

Why not see if you can spot Liu in these photos.

What you are about to see is taking the game of ‘Hide and Seek’ to another level. You see Beijing based Liu Bolin (a.k.a the Invisible Man) is a truly extraordinary artist.

Liu has exhibited his work all over the world and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Shandong College of Arts in 1995 and a Master of Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 2001.

This series of self-portraits is called ‘Hiding in the City’ and Liu like a chameleon literally blends into any surroundings even making The Predator jealous.

The series was inspired by the unnecessary and a feeling of being disregarded. Liu decided to use his art as a means of silent protest, calling attention to the lack of protection Chinese artists had received from their own government after they demolished his studio in 2005.

Why not see if you can spot Liu in these photos.
