Are These the Best Playgrounds in the World?

These playgrounds must be every kids dream and each design is based on a story.

Danish design company Monstrum say “The playgrounds must first of all inspire children to play and challenge their motor skills as well as their imagination. But Monstrums easily recognizable playgrounds are more than just playgrounds. They are sculptures in the landscape and urban space, telling stories and makes people smile just by looking at them.”

Monstrum was founded in 2003 by Barslund Nielsen and Christian Jenson who were originally theatre set designers before moving on to make these extravagant playgrounds.

Who wouldn’t want one of these awesome playground designs in their back garden? Featuring  spaceships, whales, trains, giant ants and princess castles. There is something for everyone and definitely better than the playgrounds featured in one of our previous posts Creepy Playgrounds!
