There is definitely something eerie and creepy about the mist. You never know what’s hiding out there!
You get a feeling of loneliness and isolation and everything seems to go very quiet. If you have ever been out on it you will know the feeling.
The phenomenon of mist is caused by small water droplets that are suspended in the air and is most commonly seen where warm, moist air meets sudden cooling, such as in exhaled air in the winter.
Mist usually occurs near the shores, and is often associated with fog. Mist can be as high as mountain tops when extreme temperatures are low.
