Advertising plays a major part of our lives and has been responsible for influencing our attitudes and minds since man first carved images into a stone tablet.
Today, although adverts can sometimes border on the offensive, it is nothing compared to pre-millennium advertising, where even into the 1990’s moral standards was just thrown out of the window.
Let’s take a look at some rather shocking examples. Please be aware because in here you will find a collection of rather discriminating ads. It’s amazing to think how brands ads could be so racist, sexist, full of misinformation and just damn-right offensive, all to get us to part with our money. Unfortunately, it’s not that surprising either that companies got away with this for so long!
